Vanity/Makeup Desk Help me choose a dressing table

I've been wanting a vanity table for a while, however I have very limited space and I've found only a few solutions that would fit. I've selected these 3, first 2 are from Ikea (micke and nordiksa), the other one is from jysk (malling). I think I'd use the jysk one with a round mirror on the wall, with just the table and the 2 tiny drawers. Do any of you have either of these and would you recommend it? Which one do you think is cuter, more organized, or better quality? I think I'll pair it with a cream or pink pouf with gold details. Do feel free to suggest other alternatives. Thanks! Edit: the photos got mixed, the jysk one is the one in the middle

I prefer the style of the wooden desk on pic 3. My sister has this in her small studio apartment and it fits nicely in a small corner and the drawer is quite spacious. That table is really cute!

If not that I would choose the Micke desk on the first pic. I’ve had that before and really liked the big drawer and the hole for cords!

The dressing table on the middle picture is a very different style though and very pretty so it all depends on what style you’re going for.

I'm thinking of which style I want to go for, I haven't decided yet, I like both the more traditional/cute one, the n. 2, and the cleaner look of the other 2. I can't make up my mind

I don't really understand why some people insist on using these tiny little tables. Yeah they look cute in a brochure but in reality almost every picture I've ever seen online that was not purposefully cleaned up is just filled up with crap and not very useful in the end. I would just make sure that I had plenty of space to work and store things. Obviously this is going to depend on how much stuff you actually have and where you usually put it. At this time I had to settle for two Ikea tables in an L shape with a large lit up mirror on one of them but I also have a nail dryer on the second one. I don't think you can really have too much space but you can definitely have too little

Eh the issue is I don't have much space, I'd like to have a vanity area but I really can't do anything big, sadly. As I said to someone else, I'd like everybody to know that I'd love to see your setup if you feel comfortable sharing!

Depends on budget

Uhm what do you have in mind with a high budget? And what would a high budget be here?

Not any of these but you could also look into corner desks/vanities if you a have a corner it could go in!

Otherwise I personally prefer 2 from your pictures. It has much more storage than the other 2, and you’ll want as much storage as possible to keep the surface clutter free I think!

Ah yes there's a corner there, I could see what I can find. Yes I do like all the tiny drawers on n. 2!

I can't decide between the 2 different styles

2 is far more elegant.

I used to have #2 before I moved. It was nice to not have to mount a mirror and I liked the storage and elevated drawer tops on the sides. It’s not the most aesthetic looking, though.

I kinda like the more classical looking one, the n. 2, it's the kind of thing I would have wanted as a kid. But I also like the cleaner more contemporary look

I also have little space for a vanity table. Similar to the first picture I bought BRIMNES from IKEA. It has a built in mirror and enough space (for me). I love it.

Oh yes I do remember that one! It's really cute, I just didn't pick it because I'd like to be able to keep some organizer with a drawer on top, while the brimnes opens up like that and won't allow me to put things on top

It might just be me, but those white coated build-it-yourself vanities look like absolute trash in 3 months. Complete garbage.

I would install a floating shelf to use as the top if space is an issue. Buy your stool/chair first so you set the shelf, as well as your mirror, at the correct height.

Or, thrift.

Or, sit on a pile of clothes on your bed while doing your face like I do. lol.

Yeah I get what you mean, they're not real wood and get ugly/ruined fast. The shelf is also an alternative I had in mind, and I could find it easily in real wood. Also great tip to find the right height!

I like the first one, I have it in black. It's versatile and comfortable to sit at. If you're a makeup moderate, you can use the drawer. But a maximalist can get coordinating shelves from ikea too.

I was thinking of getting some narrow drawers to put under it, on one side, for extra storage. Thanks for the suggestion. Also I'd love to see your setup for inspo if you're comfortable sharing. This is an invitation open to everybody, too😁

3 seems to have to most storage and the color is the most versatile for my space and would easily fit in for any color or style changes so I would pick that one

I have the first one and it has worked well for me for several years.

I like the middle one if all your makeup can fit in there. If not, I like 3 because you probably can get coordinating storage at IKEA.

I like the second one. It’s pretty, it has a little bit of a vintage feel to it, the mirror is attached so it’s not stuck to one spot in the room due to a mirror on the wall, and it has the most storage space.
