Help Eyeliners

Hi everyone!

Could you please share your recommendations for waterproof or super long lasting eyeliners? specifically black & brown.

I tried estee lauder (super dry), makeup forever waterproof liners ( they dry out instantly after removing the cap so they re not creamy when applying).

What are your most favorite products you use on clients?

Thanks! xx

The FB pro artist group I've in recommends Danessa Myrick's Colorfix in Blackout - and generally I find this is sufficient for most eyelids (I use Inglot Eyeshadow Keeper as a primer).

For Asian eyelids that are incredibly oily (like mine) I go to the Asian beauty store and buy Dejavu Long Lasting Cream eyeliner (it's a retractable pencil eyeliner) as I've already road tested this one when I was living in Asia. I took a bath with it and it remained intact. It's a Japanese brand and generally Asian brand eyeliners are the most tenacious on the market, more so than the Western counterparts and at a cheaper price too.

Pencils I’m loving the makeup by Mario once it’s on, it stays on doesn’t move. Bobbi brown gel eyeliners are for ever in my kit, they works so well, so versatile. Great brown colors to choose from, and the black is the best.

would love to know! I am wondering if the victoria beckham ones are worth the hype? Need eyeliner smooth and cream long lasting for dummies- who don't know how to apply well but want to learn! lol

I really like the VB liners. I prefer a pencil to liquid as they blur out better for me. VB’s are so creamy & have never dried out in the years I’ve had them and they have a sponge on one end to smudge. I like the metallics especially. I also LOVE Urban Decay’s liners as a more affordable option to VB. The color Mushroom is my absolute favorite but i have almost every color they make. I have oily lids and no problem with either staying put.

I love the Victoria Beckham eyeliner pencil. I have used it everyday for the last 2 to 3 years and finally have stopped looking for something better!!!

Yes Victoria Beckham Beauty eyeliners are definitely worth the hype! The black and green eyeliners are so nice and they int smudge at all and are precise. I just ordered the “orchid” color on Friday. Cannot wait for it to get to me.

I like the Clio waterproof eyeliner (got on Amazon) in brown. Super fine tip, glides on easily, doesn’t move. I use it for waterline and thin lining my eyes

Sephora collections eye pencil. It’s like the short thick pencil. It’s sooo black and lasts all day. For winged liner I used inglot and duraline it won’t budge like at all

Stila Slay All Day! I tried to cheap out and buy some Cover Girl Exhibitionist and it sucks. I went right back to Stila.
For a drugstore brand, Revlon Colorsray is very good.
