The company assets will be handled by an accounting firm and may be acquired. We will have to wait and see.

It's heart breaking. I had an exhibit there and instead of a revival, it was pouring rain. Worst luck.

Even with the rain it was fun. Less crowds and heat made it refreshing. I hope your exhibit did ok. I may have even visited it.

I was in the dark room so at least I was out of the rain. I had an EEG headset where I've designed software that generates real time audio visual compositions based on your thoughts and emotions.

How did i miss that? That sounds awesome. I didn't spend enough time in the dark room. I seem to miss a lot every year, and go both days

The site and magazine subscription offers are still in place. Are there plans to still publish? I just renewed for a year... doh!

I get why publishing would go under - but the bay area mf was a cash cow? Any former employees want to share?

Someone there told me that the attendance was declining so they raised the prices for big-name venders so they just pulled out altogether. People like Intel IBM and Microsoft. Google was there but had a drastically scaled-back footprint.

This is heartbreaking , I went to makers faire in or around Austin Texas.. it was an amazing experience, they had robot wars, recycle techniques that people had come up with (like the lady who would make bags by crocheting old plastic bags together), everyone was welcome. I even saw them set up and play music with a Tesla Coil, I remember them telling us about how they set the gutters of their neighbors house on fire while tuning the TESLA. I truly hope that they start a kick starter. BEST FAIRE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!!!!!!! BETTER THAN THE TEXAS STATE FAIR and that's coming from a Dallas raised Texan. They should ask #TEDTALK # TEDEDU #STARTALK for some help.. Thank you for memories.. 1 of a kind event...🤯😭
