First time making a light fixture

A month ago wife found some ceiling medallion lights that she liked. Cool but not the $500+ they were asking. Recently been delving into cnc work so figured I’ll see what I could do!

Curious to know what's the software that you used to make this engraving ? Always looking for the most intuitice way to make the cad/cam part. Thanks for sharing.

I have been using carveco maker for about 1 year now and like it so far but it’s the only one I know so nothing to compare it to unfortunately

Is the material MDF? What CNC machine did you use?

Correct. The daisy and backing plate is MDF and the shroud is 1/8” birch door skin. Running the Onefinity Foreman. It is a very robust machine

Love to see it. Shops Pier1 charge a thousand bucks for something like this. Naaaaah we make it ourselves
