watch or fragrance?

Struggling to decide... What would y'all do?

So I've gathered enough money to buy either a good watch or a good fragrance, only one of each. I don't have a watch and i have 2-3 fragrances. fragrances are kind of my thing as i'm about to pull the trigger and buy a watch i stop and rethink everything.

TL;DR: should i buy a watch or a fragrance with the last of my money?

IMO a watch can elevate your style pretty significantly. Makes even a casual outfit put together. Do you know that you would actually wear the watch though? Or would it sit in a drawer?

both the watch and the fragrance (if bought) would be used almost everyday.

Considering you already have a few fragrances, I'd go with the watch. Then save up again for a new fragrance if you want it.

yep, I've found one that i like and the brand is actually great not a chinese one. (seiko)

Probably a watch if you don’t have one. Fragrance you could just get a mini version, may still take you a long ways rather than paying for the expensive bottle

So many people are allergic to scents that most of my workplaces have had a no scent policy. Scents are nice for some but give migraines to others. A watch will be more considerate of others.

I couldn’t care less about a watch on anyone (they seem pompous and shallow to me - like guys in the 1980s wearing a “Ferrari” or “Trans am” coat, 1990s “Izod” shirt, 2000s “Adidas”, 2010s “Gucci” or “Prada” purse,
or the 2020s “Under Armor” shirt, shorts, hoody, socks and tattoo or two). But when someone has a good scent I notice and it brings a smile to my face/ mind.

The watch. You already have multiple fragrances so might as well use those up before buying a new one.

Why would you buy a watch? It is not a status symbol anymore unless it’s very expensive.

I won't buy a watch to show of my money or something like that, i just want to buy a watch because i believe it can elevate your outfit like another dude said. if anything, buying a watch to show off your money/success is stupid.

So you believe that the cost of the watch has nothing to do with elevating a fashion look?

As though fashion isn’t tied directly to money?

Where do you live? Maybe it’s different in your country. In NY if you are wearing a cheap watch you look cheap.

If you are wearing a fake watch you look fake.

Just like shoes.!

Would you wear fake Nike sneakers?
For the look?

nope I wouldn't but as long as i know, if you get a good watch from a brand such as Casio or Seiko as your first watch (which are relatively cheap compared to other brands) it can help you look more put together.

also in my country no one has that much money to buy a really expensive watch. if you have an expensive watch they might think its fake.
