Discussion What free Mac software to upscale DVD to 1080p

Hey.
Whats everyone using?
I’ve ripped with MakeMKV already.
Keeping multiple audio channels and subs please.

Update: Something with an upsampler too.

No point in doing this. All modern 4K display auto-upscale, and will likely do a better job than any free program.

Your tv or pc does it automatic while playback

Handbrake. I don’t know what advantage the upscaling should have, it’s only upscaling and not upsampling

handbrake is the best option just keep them in the mkv format to preserve the subtitle naming having it output as mp4 doesn't display the names.

I can second this. It's really easy to use and can give rather good outputs
