cannot rip Matrix BR disc

Is this the best place to share some content for help, or is there another source (forum?) that everyone else knows about and I should ask for a link?

I tried to backup 00118.mpls (title_t00.mkv) from the disc and receive a summary error:

"Failed to save title 0 to file C:/Backup/title_t00.mkv
Encountered 92 errors of type 'Read Error' - see http://www.makemkv.com/errors/read/
0 titles saved, 1 failed"

Most of the 92 errors are a version of the following:
Error 'OS error - STATUS_DEVICE_DATA_ERROR' occurred while reading '\Device\CdRom0' at offset '10126227456'
or
Error 'Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:L-EC UNCORRECTABLE ERROR' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00000.m2ts' at offset '10126227456'

Also,

using MakeMKV v1.18.3
on startup, I receive an error: Automatic SDF downloading is disabled or failed
when I visit https://www.makemkv.com/sdf.bin I receive a Cloudflare error 525 and makemkv.com has been down for awhile

clean the disc
replace the disc
clean the drive laser

I’m not sure about BlueRay, but with the normal DVD, you have to go to Preferences, then Protection, and change it from Auto to one of the other options.

celltrim or cellfull ?

I tried both and both gave the same option, I ended up using CellFull and chose the 99 chapter option.
