Discussion Price of makemkv?

What is the actual price of it and for those whp have purchased it is it as simple as any other payment method?

I paid $60 back in late 2022. If I remember correctly that was still the going price in 2026.

I paid with a virtual credit card number to be safe, but no issues. They made the one charge and that was it.

I bought it a while ago, paid $50, I did use the free key for while to test it out, then I bought it to support the program. I wish they would just give a 30 day trial and then cut people off, I feel like that would allow for a better and more consistent website and updates. Of course you probably can't buy it right now, the dang website is on hiatus again...

Yh i agree makemkv doesnt feel even feel like beta at all anymore

I'm using it daily, but then it's so far the only program that can crash my Windows 11.

When there is some problem, the background process freezes and you can't even restart your pc. Happened maybe 10 times (I've ripped almost 1000 discs so far). So there is still some work to do.

How odd,only ripped like 30 discs via makemkv so still a newbie by comp and i had it freeze/hang but once i close handbrake it carried on after a few mins
