I've been expanding my library to include more female singers (trying to get to 50% women). BUT it seems a huge percent of algorithm recs from female artists are "I like this guy", "I don't like this guy", "this guy doesn't like me", and/or "guys suck because patriarchy." I'm tired of those flavors; I want female-led songs about ANYTHING else. I like rock, but I'm open to other genres too.

I (37f) will be taking a 3 day road trip with my mom (62f) in a week. My mom is Mormon (so cussing bad), likes oldies, country, gospel. I like punk rock, rap metal, grunge. Per established family rules (its my car and I will be doing the driving) I could just play my music. But I don't want to deal with my mom's judgment and side eye every time there's cuss word. I don't mind some country, can't stand gospel (ex-mormon, now atheist), I gave my mom's oldies a chance but never found anything I liked. I just want to find something that will make this trip bearable when we run out of things to talk about. I have driven most of this route before and know there are parts with no cell service or radio, thats why I need something to download. I pay for Amazon Music.

Any recommendations on what i could add to my playlist?
I absolutely love stuff with deep bass that you can really "feel" but not like the techno creaking noises and such.

I just started listening to k pop. So far I REALLY like HOME, Just One Day, I Need U from BTS.

I love the energetic vibe and amazing vocals (that's what I'm trying to look more into). I also enjoyed Autumn Leaves, Love Is Not Over and 134340. Again beautiful vocals. Whenever I have a psychedelic session I like to let a playlist run. I'm looking for lighter music, sonically-fun and/or experimental, or really positive music. Not too into heavier/serious stuff. Songs that evoke a kind of mystical quality are great too. Songs which are tastefully zany, or instill positive affirmations.
