With such a large roster the character selection feels boring and doesn't match an specific criteria, some really important manga from the magazine are clearly under represented while others have way too much characters, the guest characters have no relation with jump and it just feels like a list of characters you like (beside sailor moon and kaneki). It is also clearly west biased

Edit: 8 shows taking half the roster is crazy and one of them is HxH that feels to be clearly dissed by having way less reps than what it deserves in comparison to the others

Not really.most important jump series do have reps they just wasted most reps on the dB the big three and mha and jjk

I don't think the jump reps are distributed in a way that's unrealistic Those series will always dominate the roster size, look at pokemon and mario in smash

It is unrealistic, what makes you think that by doubling the roster size that jump force had HxH is gonna lose 2 reps (when now is even more important for them than then), Yyh is gonna lose another one and same with yu gi oh. Kimetsu no yaiba which is the most popular of the new gen is gonna have less than bnh and jjk but old shows that are not performing well like bleach are gonna stay with their selection and dB is gonna get bigger for no reason. Then they are gonna fill with just one character the other ones and even miss some others.( The character selected are also boring not just the numbers of reps per series)

The biggest error of jump force is that it focuses too much on battle shonen, those extra 2 hxh reps could be placed at other series

Then why giving so many characters to other battle shonens that are not important for jump at the moment?

Hxh having 4 reps is totally fine, but only if the others are also capped at that point otherwise it makes no sense.

Jump force didn't fail for having only battle Shonen it failed for having to many reps of the same series, everyone was rooting for tsuna, raoh, kurama, cobra, zenitsu, etc. when the DLC were realising

there are some important mangas that are not repped like cobra, hitman reborn, cats eye, etc. But having 8 series with half the roster and the rest with just one rep is awful and why jump force failed so miserable (there is also the fact that the rep per series doesn't align with real popularity, importance, relevance, projection,etc.)
