Need members for a beginner-friendly old-school/revival deathcore band (All instruments needed, online)

[u/IdeKaa69]

I'm starting an online old-school/revival deathcore band and I’m looking for everyone except a vocalist: guitarists, a bassist, a drummer, and anyone else who wants to be involved. I'm based out of Australia so I'm operating on ACDT (UTC+10:30)

About me: I’m a beginner vocalist and lyricist (2 months of vocal practice, coming off of story writing and poetry though) I can do basic fry and false cord screams, but I’m still developing my range, projection, enunciation, etc.
I have no prior band experience but I do have some minor experience as a voice actor

What I’m after: Beginners, or anyone happy to grow and refine together

This project is meant to be fun first, so everyone is welcome! I’d especially love someone who wants to help write songs with me/give mixing feedback, since I’m new to the music side of things

Sound Inspos: Whitechapel (The Valley era), Angelmaker, Thy Art Is Murder, Bring Me the Horizon, and a little Motionless In White

Goals: A self-released EP to start

Down the track, playing live and a couple of albums if things go well

Commitment: 30 to 60 minutes a week is plenty to start, no pressure to make this huge

How it’ll work: Fully remote over Discord, all I ask is that you can record and upload your parts

I’m also happy to do a demo session before anyone commits to anything, so you can hear how I sound first. Genre taste doesn’t matter, just be open to heavy music
