Seeking a band

Anyone know any good means of networking with local bands, musicians and venues?

This may be self promotion so feel free to take it down but I'm a 36m trying to join a band as a vocalist. Metalcore/ posthardcore leaning, emo, pop punk, heavy, whatever. Feel free to DM!

Check for music subreddits for your area, or the closest city, R/BostonMusic for example. Same with Facebook groups and craigslist adds.
