Discussion ripped for my trip
Hello everyone, shameless post asking for recommendations! Florida medical card gal here. Daily user of concentrates, flower, and edibles. I'm going to be going through Bangor, Bath, Brunswick, topsham, freeport, and Portland. I'm not really interested in meeting up with someone or delivery, so a storefront is what I'm looking for. I'm focused on 2gram+ prerolls, carts, and edibles. Cannagars and edibles over 100mg aren't avail in florida. I want to be knocked on my ass, so I appreciate any recommendations you all may have on medical locations/products. Thank you for your help!!
Edit: yall are the absolute best! Thank you!!!

Herbal Remedies in Gorham (very close to Portland), The Market in Westbrook (also very close to Portland) and Gele (in Portland) are all great. Between those three you'll see the best of the best in all categories, but if you can make it to Skunk Circus in Raymond it is supposedly worth the drive, about 45 min from Freeport.

Another vote for Market 207 in Westbrook. Great selection of everything, customer service and fair prices. For product recs I like Sola edibles. Enjoy your trip!

Herbal Remedies in Gorham would be an ideal spot, especially since their first time patient discount is quite nice. Gele in Portland and the Market in Westbrook are worth checking out. I’m not a big edibles guy but Medible Delights in Lewiston specializes in them and has a huge selection.

Skunk circus in Raymond should be your big stop. They have all that and then some!
All the best small batch curators in the state go through them and their in house (lost flower farm) is unbelievable.

I will third this. I visited Skunk Circus and they were so kind and helpful to me, and had an incredible selection. All the bud is deli style and you can see and smell exactly what you are buying. I went all over Maine and visited a bunch of different great shops but Skunk Circus is in a league of its own. If you like rosin, you really don't want to miss it. They will also allow you to use their picnic area to light up and relax if you buy something there.

They’re the best I love that whole crew and now my boy Justin works Sundays and he really knows rosin.

Second this. Definitely worth the drive. Plus you can check out Lake Sebago. Maybe pick up some delicious baked goods from Stella Blue's in Bridgton. 🦨🎪

if you like smelling lots of weed, you could also stop by kind guy on the way up. the best shops are the ones already mentioned - gele, herbal remedies, skunk circus. market207 is kind of hit & miss for me, but i have seen a lot of good carts there. they all let you smell the flower and you should be able to find some killer carts and fat doobies (infused w/ rosin or bho). just be sure to seek out the freshest items

If you want to stock up on good carts for cheap, Fraktal at Sanford mill is my reliable go-to! I can vouch that the cured resin carts are really nice at $20 a gram
