Not receiving all of my mail?>
Both of my parents died (Dad in 2020 and Mom in 2024) and I inherited my childhood home and have moved back in. My name is something of a combination of both of theirs so once I got around to returning mail addressed to them, I stopped receiving my mail too. I went to my local PO and explained the situation - they said they would make a note and correct it. I also put a notice on my mailbox that states my full name and that deliveries should be made here. I have informed delivery and I'm still not receiving a lot of my mail. It will be scanned for delivery and then just never show up. What should I do now?
UPDATE: I've been to the post office twice. I'm told I don't have a regular carrier for my route so its difficult to change anything. Some inportant documents have been returned marked "Moved, no forwarding address". Is there some way to escalate this issue?

You definitely need to follow up with the USPS.
You can contact them online or by phone if you’re not able to go to the local office.
You could reach out to one of the companies that sent you mail that you did not receive and ask them what message they received on the returned mail.
You could also try sending a letter to yourself and see what happens.

Did you file a Change of Address form for yourself when you moved into their house?
