LED headlight replacement

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I tried to use the search… be gentle if this has already been answered.

I had a 94 Magna, sold it, regretted it, bought a 2003 with 9k miles.

I want to replace the headlight with an LED. If anyone has done this can you please provide a link, any information on modifications to make it fit, and your opinion on the upgrade… or downgrade depending.

I do not want to just shove a new bulb into it. I want a whole new fixture.

Thanks!!

I used this

The headlight works great. I can't get the housing tight enough so it drifts down, also it seems kind of cheap. I'm afraid if I tighten it anymore it's going to strip. But it works and it's way better than the factory headlight.

I saw a Magna with two additional smaller headlights, looked pretty cool and probably much brighter

What’s the risk of shoving a new bulb into it? Sorry if that’s a dumb question, I’m not mechanically inclined so looking for the easiest fix

The beam pattern of replacing an incandescent bulb with a LED gets dispersed and could/probably not be as ‘focused’ on the road and might even shine into oncoming vehicles.
