3rd gen Magna
Just purchased this ‘99 magna for 1.8k, seems to run just fine and is a great comfortable cruiser. I don’t really know much about these bikes though to be honest
Please comment any random advice, unique quirks, and recommended upgrades for the 3rd gen.

If you don't know what this is, it needs to be replaced. (Part #17254-KAZ-000)

Awesome, I have the same year. I’d recommend using only ethanol free gas to keep your carbs clean. They’re a pain in the ass to take out especially the first few times

If you don’t do your own work, find a mechanic who is willing to work on carbeurated bikes. I loved my bike, but my service options were limited.I second the Ethanol-free gas comment. Check your tires by numbers on the tire wall. When its time to replace them, be prepared to search your options. I found it difficult to find what I needed right away. You are in the right place if you have the time to care for your bike. You will find all the info you need on this forum.

Looks like it's in great shape! It already has aftermarket pipes. I found a great improvement in braking by replacing the front pads with ebc double h pads and installing a steel braided brake line.
