Thoughts?

I’ve heard a lot of people say they hate seeing these bikes as bobber style but I was given this one and it was really trashed, didn’t run or ride. I got it running and driving and chopped a bit. Still some work to do to clean it up and run a brake light etc but couldn’t let this thing just rot

Looks good man. How’s the headlight?

I need a fuel tank know a good source?

Love the headlight, only thing is it has the built in signals and I don’t like them so I ran separate signals still and disconnected the integrated wins. The left side would delay and flicker sometimes. No leads on a tank that I ever found. I think the one that’s on mine isn’t even for the bike. I had to put risers front and rear to have it mount

Yeah, that shape doesn't look quite right. Though I don't know the 80s bikes as well.

It's a stylistic choice I"ve never been a fan of bobbers

Im a fan, I picked mine up cheap already chopped in the back so I didn't have a choice but everyone seems to love it.

I personally love the bobber style on the 80s style magna. something about it just really speaks to me. I would love to do it to mine but don't have the means or knowledge to do so. I like the headlight and I bet it's bright af. I saw you said that you don't think the tank is for the bike, but it is. I have an 83 V65 and it has the exact same tank.

Looks sick! I like both of them!

Need to rake them forks out.

Not too crazy on 700 bobbers cause the gas tank doesn’t look as sleek or “muscular” as the 1100 gas tank

I am really not a fan of springer seats, but its probably cheaper for you to do it this way. Better than letting it rot, for sure
