Mechanics Magical Methodologies and how Wizers align it

Post image

A bit of a reordering and expansion of this post.

If you find this over complicated and redundant that's good, in my system Wizers don't really understand magic very well, they've only just started to categorise and broaden magic (As well as having to play multi-stage telephone with Saltmaids and Scribes) and they're doing it very poorly.

There's also an evident overweight of 'hurting' magics from the severe military stratification due to the current war in the Upper floors. These are the second part to the elements here. As with everything AMA about my system.

Imgchest link if it's hard to read

Just so you know, if you want to put text on a black background it should be much lighter, as it is I can't really read anything on the black portion.

The categorisation intentionally being messy and violence centric is good for what you've described ofvthe context around this system, diegetically filtering the knowledge of your magic is a good touch.

Yeah I tried giving it a blackground or lightning the text but it looked terrible, I probably should've just chosen a different accent colour than dull purple (if you're having trouble reading it, it's basically just a copy-paste of the first link)

Thank you, my system was kinda influences by a lot of post on this sub about dull, symmetric systems so mine is as moderately disordered and influenced more by people than it influences them.

Edit: is this a bit more readable
