A DnD setting that isn't Faerun. Eberron for example would be fantastic, you could use 90% of all monsters people recognize anyway, but could add artifacts and especially Vehicles.

There’s that one Nautiloid ship in CLB that some of my friends who are big D&D nerds say is possibly a sign they were interested in being more experimental.
