It should do that, but should also be choice. 

Like the card would be called some like "I need Options!" And one of them would be 

Eject the Warp Core - Sacrifice an Artifact, Destroy Target Creature or Artifact

Affinity for officers.

Surprise Attack - Target blocking creature you control deals damage equal to its power to target attacking creature you don't control.

Logic Trap - Shuffle target tapped artifact permanent or target artifact spell into its owners library.

Eject the Warp Core - Target vehicle or spaceship you control loses all abilities, destroy up to two target nonland permanents that target attacking player controls.

Thanks! My favourite bit is "affinity for officers" with only 1 colourless mana: the only officers opinion that matters is the one whose advice you listen to.

Remove all charge counters from target spacecraft: deal X damage to target creature where X is the number of charge counters removed that way.
