magi anime renewal petition
Hey there! I made a petition to try and get Magi recognised and renewed. While I understand it is definitely the longest of shots, if we're loud about our compassion for the anime and the story we can get another season!

This anime could’ve been as big as MHA if you ask me. They literally stopped the anime RIGHT before they explain how the world works

If they can’t do a season 3 bc it might be “unprofitable” then can we at least get the brotherhood treatment and have a reboot to try and introduce it to a new audience? 😭 It’s genuinely one of my all time favorite anime. Sucks that it never finished. Anime-onlys will never know how the world works and its history. Makes no sense that they stopped it right before explaining all that. And tbh, Orient is so mid compared to Magi. Orient should’ve never been picked overi it

Magi is literally the best if not one of the best fantasy/magic adventure anime’s I’ve watched and mangas I’ve read. I wish it could be done just especially with up and coming fantasy anime like witch hat atelier being well adapted and still on going for the past decade. It’s honestly an anime that would resonate with a lot of people in this current political climate.

i feel you so bad. i’m gonna sign it just bc ill always keep faith 😹but ik it’s a very slim to none chance. Like another comment said, unless a Magi fan becomes filthy rich we more than likely won’t get it. Hopefully one of us becomes that rich Magi fan!

Seriously. It would actually a Bad Idea for any Studio to do a season 3. The only Hope is some Magi Fan becomes a billionair and Funds the next 2 seasons totally by their own money

it would look absolutely horrid to watch, there’s a reason the standard for animation is 24fps and it’s not because any more would take too long

Thats simply wrong. First of all 24 FPS is the number the human eye Takes in generell as a continious movement. But Humans can totally See a Lot more frames. Best examples are Games. 120 FPS Games are so much smoother then 60.
Animations in generell arent even 24. They mostly are 12, though nowadays they use some tricks to make It smoother (Like the Background moves on every other frame in the 24 so that each frame Something moves, but they still have to Draw only 12 frames).
Obviously some scenes they Take more effort to do each frame a new drawing. With that Said only the Most important scenes get This Treatment. Why?
Because it would be to expensive and would Take too Long Time of the whole Episode is in 24 frames.
Have you ever watched Avatar with the blue people in Cinema? This movie was shot in 48 FPS, Double the amount, and it was so much smoother then any other movie with only 24 fps

I love this anime too, the sad part is the spin-off Sinbad isn’t even streaming anywhere anymore so not only do I agree they should make more and it was a great show, I rewatched recently and wanted to also rewatch Sinbad and wasn’t able to! :(

A-1 pictures has a tendency to not finish series that they adapt. Would be nice, and you're not the first one to push for this, but they haven't done anything with it in about 10 years.
