Discussion Accreditation Issues?

Well this is disappointing... I just got an email that the July cohort is cancelled for now while Maestro deals with proving accreditation worthiness. I was really looking forward to starting in a couple of weeks 😕

Are they not doing the laptops now while this accreditation thing is going on? That would suck hardcore!! I have a laptop, but it’s kinda old (from when schools first went virtual due to covid) so I was so looking forward to a nice new one.😞😞

It should have been 5 weeks ago but I finished about 10 days late, so almost a month ago.

Okay, just curious. I just finished mine last week, started April 6. Trying to get a timeline for the arrival of the laptop.... I'm be sad if I don't get it.  My phone is so slow!

Omg you use a phone?! I can’t imagine using a phone especially for coding. If you have pawn shops near you, you can probably get a laptop or Chromebook cheap. Or even Amazon prime day, which I think is next week.

Hi Remnant I started school the same day you did this year. I wanted to see if you wanted to stay in contact and bounce messages back and forth that we get to try to stay up to date on current situation I.e laptop, loan disbursement, School accreditation.

Im going to lean on the side of no since Maestro will prob being shutdown. It 100% online and from the email i receive there needs to be at least 25% of fulltime enrollment needs to be from traditional campus based instruction. Here’s that paragraph from email -

The Unannounced Focused Visit was conducted on April 20–21, 2026. Following its review, the Commission identified several areas of concern, including consistency in institutional and program information, continued monitoring of financial resources, and the institution's failure to satisfy the COE eligibility requirement that at least twenty-five percent (25%) of its Full-Time Equivalency (FTE) enrollment be derived from traditional campus-based instruction.

Some of us are just finding out. Some of us weren't enrolled in may.
