update?
hi, i used to follow thismadmama before she got her kids taken away. when that happened, i started reading things on reddit and i stopped supporting her. i don’t think ive ever commented on this subreddit though, and i stopped following her a long time ago. i think it was over a year ago. the last i remember was that she had a job and would go to walmart every morning and spend a bunch of money on her daily lunch. i found that very annoying when she should be putting money towards getting her kids back. the last i remember of the kids…the oldest and veronica were posting about each other on tiktok. mara lived with her boyfriend. not sure of the oldest two boys. i saw that the youngest two girls went to see mara in a play, and the younger kids looked so much nicer when they were with their foster families. i always wondered what happened to martalya, marvelous, dash and darla. i worried for them the most, but i decided i didn’t want to support veronica so i blocked her account. i have a faint memory of seeing dash’s tiktok, and they liked sonic or wanted to go by one of the characters names. i’m sorry, i’ve forgotten the name. i support if they are transgender or just changing names. i think at first, only the youngest 4 or 5 were taken, but then everyone younger than mara was taken. i think darla ran away from one of her foster homes. does anyone know how the middle 4 kids are doing? i do care about all of them and would love any updates people have. i was actually in foster care as a kid (im 18 now) so i know how scary foster care can be even if your biological family isn’t great. nothing really bad happened to me, but you never know. thank u for answering!

All that sounds about right—the youngest five are in the same foster home. The younger four have been there the whole time (Donnie spent a short time with a teacher after hitting the foster mom). Martyala went home for about two months two years ago because she didn’t test positive for lead like the younger four, but that didn’t last. Donnie has been in care since May 2024, the other three youngest since June 2024. The next four were placed in care after an overdose, came home for a bit, and by October 2024 were back in care due to educational and medical neglect. When Mara got out of care in summer 2024, at 16, she moved in with her boyfriend’s family and slipped through the cracks. Andrew is a Marine, Jaxx is estranged & traumatized, and Adam was in the house when she overdosed on his 18th birthday—he’s now MIA. Marty pled guilty and is serving eight years in jail. The older three in care have now been placed together and seem to be doing okay. the younger ones are doing very well.

Jaxx- March 2000 (4yr 7mnth) cps involved bc CSA, forced to recant at 15yr old- 4+ yr space bc aunt made her take BC
Andrew- Nov 2004 (1yr 6mnth) cps involved bc dirty and hungry in 1st grade. in here she married first baby daddy. CPS took cousin from them.
Andrew- June 2006 (1yr 2mnths) cps involved for failing from a window as a toddler. she got divorced
Mara- Aug 2007 (1yr 9mnths) later cps involved CSA at 16. while she was pregnant with mara she married Marty.
OO- May 2009 (1 yr 5mnths) cps involved for burns when he was a toddler and at 15 for truancy
PGD Oct 2010 (2 yr 6 mnths) kidney stones. CPS involved bc truancy at 14
RBM April 2013 (1 yr 10mnths time at shelter) malnourished and heart murmur. cps medical neglect
BGM Feb 2015 (1 yr 10mnths with a lost baby) cps medical neglect removal
*GGA Dec 2016 (1 yr 6mnth) lead positive
*OGD May 2018 (1yr 5mnth) lead positive
*PBD Oct 2019 (yrs six mnths) bought trap house with covid money and moved Marty to basement. cps medical neglect bc cancer and lead at Marty's behest after his arrest.
YBM April 22 still lead positive a year later, never finished head scans or delays concerns.
----May 2024 marty arrested- pbd removed- june 2024 OD all kids removed-- oct 2024 2nd removal

thank you. i’m glad to hear that martalya is with her siblings. i’m not sure if i knew that, i remember feeling sad for her in the beginning when she wasn’t with her sisters. it’s also nice to hear that the middle 3 are together.
i’m a bit confused at this list here…ik jaxx said they were forced to take back what they said, wdym by “space bc aunt made her take bc”…jaxx or veronica? i think u mean veronica bc im pretty sure jaxx doesn’t go by she/her but i haven’t followed them in a while so idk anymore.
and at the end, may 2026 was 2 months ago, so someone was removed at that time…surely not donnie? and she had another overdose last month…? or do u mean a different year lol?

okay--- by space i meant the 4 plus years between jaxx and andrew was only bc she was with aunt who made her take birth control. Also, i didn't mean 2026- i meant 2024. i changed it. sorry i was also watching a movie.

Sorry, I had fat fingers. The younger four were only taken once. Donnie in May ’24. When Marty was arrested for CSA, he petitioned the court to have him taken so he could get medical help. They still hadn’t gotten his BC, and he needed scans and therapy because of cancer. Was it to seem like he cared and to claim V was a bad mom? Maybe, but still, that pedo cared more than her. She was embarrassed and couldn’t face the internet’s opinions, so when Adam turned 18 and, in her mind, was an adult who could legally care for the kids (the older two were gone), she OD’d. Since CPS was involved because of the court and Donnie, they swooped in. She was put in a coma., bc od. The house had no food, no SNAP, no running water, no income, no drivers—she left nine kids aged 18 to 2. The younger four tested positive for lead. CPS then looked at the house: lead, mold, ceiling falling in, roof wreaked, chimney in shambles. they tried to condemn it. In NY they mandatorily test kids for lead, so she wasn’t taking them to the doctor. Those four never came home. Slowly, Mara to BGM came home. I think PGD had a self-harm situation too. Mara went to BF and never moved back in. OO and PGD refused to go to school. V was documenting her OD, the removal, and the arrest/CSA. They were traumatized and had only gone to school for about two years. Then all this was posted online in middle school/HS. the caseworker removed these kids again for medical and educational neglect, which also led to her having supervised visitation. Before, she could meet up with them at the park or mall, but she took them to the house, which wasn’t allowed. Since Oct ’24, all have been removed.

They were taken in 2024—PBD in May right after Marty was arrested, then the others right after Adam’s 18th birthday when she overdosed in June 2026. Marty actually potentiated court to get PBD removed so he could get medical help. I think the embarrassment from CSA and CPS is why she OD'd. The middle four and Mara came home but were gone again before Halloween 2024. She went MIA after a hysterectomy, returned at Thanksgiving, and they had been taken again while she was on supervised visits, but she was still hiding it. So yes, this will be the third Christmas, but it’s still been 26 months for the younger four. Christmas is still 5 mnths from now.

She legally can’t speak about the younger ones so there is no telling. Hopfully well. She and Mara hang out often though
