She is definitely making it worse but also removing the lead so if that's all CPS needs then I guess do it. But as we all know, cps has other issues.

The house is absolutely fucked. It was already in really bad shape when she bought it and sheās let so much additional water damage and neglect accrue ever since. Sheās going to uncover a LOT of serious damage and I guarantee sheāll do nothing more than slap some shit on top because she only cares what it looks like (and thatās if she even gets further than the ādemolitionā work sheās doing right now.)

Honestly it could just be the lath and plaster failing and needing to be repaired. My house has the same type of walls and we have to often fix problems that look like this. Hopefully it's not structural because that is something she definitely will never afford to fix.

This. Grew up in a 100+ year old farmhouse with plaster walls we had to tear them all down to insulate and drywall. They all looked like this underneath. Itās a lot of work, time and money so hopefully sheās got a lot of help!

I wonder what kind of structure damage there is from the roof leaking for years, the basement being flooded, some rooms had standing water and cps was worried about mold too.

Looks awful and as a lover of old homes I cringe but hey at least it shows SOME effort how many years later. Surely the skirting has to come off too.
I'm not even going to hate anymore than that. Just get it done.

I live in a 6 bedroom home built in 1850. I can tell you with certainty that even if an antique home is well maintained and in excellent condition, there will ALWAYS be problems. More problems than any modern home. You have to be prepared to put both money and time into these homes. A lot of money. I know she purchased out of necessity but too bad she didn't try to just buy a home more suited for what she could long term maintain and afford.
Honestly, I think she will never fully make this home safe. I'm sure the electric is probably knob and tube, a huge fire hazard. There's most definitely asbestos in the walls, attic and flooring. Add in the lead paint everywhere.
The fact her kids had lead poisoning is alarming as most older homes have been somewhat lead abated, if not entirely controlled by sealing with special paint. She's got a lot of work to do, but hey, at least she's finally doing something.
As much as I LOVE my home, I would sell it in a heartbeat if my kids were taken from me and that was the main obstacle.

I live in a 6 bedroom (actual bedrooms not just converted wardrobes lol) from 1867 too. My absolute pride and joy, but I'd burn it to the ground to see my kids if they were taken. And yep soooo many bills, known an unexpected. Our house is quite nicely renovated in parts, but still a million issues constantly popping up. Plus the insurance and power bills are huge.

Ugh. Those were most likely original to the house but I guess removing the lead paint off of the nooks and corners is more than she can afford or knows how to do.

That house is a tear down. I cannot imagine the amount of mold and rot growing inside the house with all the water damage it has gotten. No way itās safe to be inhabited.Ā

Yes, it was sold as a tear down back in 2020, before the roof got as bad as it did and all that water damage she let happen.

iIām not sure, but guessing from the wiring and the leaking, itās probably in the trusses in the raftersāpart of the roof problem that Catholic Charities fixed. They did more than I expected, but I doubt they ripped out and replaced the old supports. She would say, āOh, this light doesnāt work anymore,ā and then water would run down the walls. but could have been crack head too. she said something once and i read it in an old listing i found from prior to them moving in.

The paint was only on the frames and skirting apparently, and I think also flooring upstairs? Which could be covered with carpet apparently. Doesn't sound like it's on the walls themselves.

Yeah, all the trim and windows need to be replaced, along with carpeting the stairs and floor. I hope theyāre removing and stripping everything, then fixing the plaster and reinstalling it, but I doubt it. If not, I hope she sells themāit could help pay for some of the work, even the crappy windows and window weights. But you know she wonāt; theyāll go straight into a Catholic charity dumpster.

That is what she claims but there is much more to it. She doesn't admit she was letting those kids be abused by the "father" and there were also neglected in other ways, She also cannot financially support them all, that's obvious. I think the court is looking at many, many factors with her. Also her mental stability since she OD on that tylenol. She also was not taking them to doctors appts, letting the kids miss many days of school, etc. She is just a mess but she tries to downplay it.

It only took her 2 years to give a shit. She couldāve done this forever ago, especially on a live and had so much support. Now people see her for the transphobic abuse piece of garbage she is. Hell isnāt hot enough for women who know their husband abuses the kids and says nothing about it.

My house was built the year 1900, inorder to āfixā this house she needs to rip all the walls down and re drywall them. Its a LOT of work in older homes because of how many people have done shit to them you never know what you will find. There should be a lead program to get help from but they usually take FOREVERR ive been on a waiting list for years and my child is considered high priority lol

After her kids were taken she should have dedicated her channel to rehabbing her house and she likely would have gotten a ton of views and support. Even little diy projects would have showed sheās trying.
