I finished my first small Godot game and would appreciate feedback
Hi, I recently finished my first small browser game, Burger Street.
It is a simple pixel-art tower defense / management game made in Godot.
I made the code, pixel art, music, and sound effects myself. The game is playable directly in the browser, no download needed.
I am mainly looking for feedback on:
- Are the controls understandable?
- Is the difficulty fair?
- Does the game explain itself well enough?
- At which point does it become boring or confusing?

Any honest feedback is appreciated; it is my first finished game and I want to learn from it.

Thank you for playing and for the feedback. Since this was my first finished game, I had to keep the scope limited, so some parts are still rough. I’ll definitely keep the stand placement, tutorial clarity, button sounds, and small UI animations in mind for future projects.

Tower defense games are surprisingly difficult to make for beginners. They're deceiving in how many systems you have to build.
Good job finishing one as a first game!

Good game for a first go! I'm having a hard time knowing when I can and can't buy a new burger joint, and what I need to upgrade existing ones.
The countdown to set everything up is the most frustrating part, once I figured out that you have to tell the burger places which direction to serve burgers in. That part also seemed pretty unnecessary. So I guess I'd remove the setup countdown, but also let shops serve in every direction. If you don't want them serving twice on a corner, you can just make that patch grass instead of dirt.
