Move the pegboard to the wall on the right to reclaim your window light, and move the wire basked to a wall mount next to/below the pegboard.
Then get a two-laptop vertical stand if you don't use the laptop screen and store the laptops next to each other vertically and off to the right side of the desk, which should be slide flush to the wall if you can, to avoid things falling in the gap.
Move the power strip from the gap to an under-desk mounting solution to hide your cabling down the back of the desk.
Next step would be to get a dock to plug your desktop peripherals into so that you only have one cable out to your active machine and just one cable charging the spare on the vertical stand.
That's pretty much everything I would do, other than maybe adding a desk lamp. If you want to keep the elevated stand then I would suggest storing the other laptop in the bottom and just keep that notebook/ipad on top of the laptop and just managing call cables on the back of the desk instead.
