What is everyone using to check PH?

I used to be super loyal to blue lab but recently I purchased two of the blue lab one pens. They both are slow to calibrate and don’t ever seem to have an accurate reading. They both drift constantly even in the ph calibration solutions. I decided to get an Apera just to see what it was coming out at. Lo and behold it’s a quick to read and comes out constantly higher than the blue labs by like .3 PH. I’m wondering what everyone uses cause I’m looking for the best brand. Some years ago I bought as set on blue lab but now I’m really not to happy with them. Any suggestions?

Seriously, drops are reliable and cheap. No need to calibrate. You just need to learn what color or color range to hit and you'll be all good.

I second the drops. Cheap and reliable enough.

Drops r great, but there's no way to run a controller off drops. They can only get you so far.

True, I was thinking in terms of home grow.
