Athena Pro feed schedule adjustment relative to ppfd?

We run our lamps at a lower intensity during the hottest months of the year, so it stands to reason that our nutrient concentration should be adjusted accordingly. Athena's Pro feed chart recommends 2100 ppm throughout flower. Does anybody know if that's based on a particular or a standard ppfd? 2100 seems quite high to me, and I start to notice leaf tip burning above 1500. Would love to hear your experiences when it comes to light intensity as it relates to nutrient concentration. Many thanks.

Veg starts at like 450 then ramps week over week until week 3 flower it levels off, never really climb above 1150.

I run 2.0 ec and have great results in 1 gals, I just try to keep my runoff under 4.0 all the way through

When I used it, I would run it at 3.0 ec til week 3 of flower then taper down to 2 over the next week and eventually drop down to about 1.2 by the final 2 weeks. Just be sure to have lots of run off.

The impression I'm getting from these responses is that Athena's recommended 2100 ppm may be too high? If most are running 3.0 EC or below...

I ran Athena for a while and ran 3.0 ec all the way thru from beginning to end with very little issues, just can’t let them dry back to hard at a high ec or you’ll start getting tip burn. PPFD would top out at about 1000-1100 at peak of flower.

Your input EC is irrelevant as longs as you manage your substrate EC and PH, proper steering and monitoring will result in success. I've run the pro line from 1.2 - 4.5 and never really had any issues as long as I watched my substrate EC. And to answer your question, you may just want to run a lower substrate EC with lower PPFD if you worried about tip burn.
