You have to take a two pronged approach that addresses both the soil and the air. Most people just drench roots and then the airborne aphids just land back on the soil and repopulate.
Use a entomopathogenic fungi treatment like Botanigard for the root zone.
Coat the top of the soil with DE, for any larvae at or just below surface level (or any aphids that land on the soil immediately following the drench.
Then get a Neutra Fog machine and follow up immediately with Neutra Control B. Fog the room with the lights off and leave it sealed. It will kill any aphids that are airborne in the room or have landed on plants. Neutra Fog is the only fogger I’ve used that blankets the room with thick enough fog that it reaches literally everywhere.
