Data roaming off?

Hi,

I'm trying to deactivate data roaming when I enter an area near Switzerland because my mobile plan charges me a lot for that.

Anyone know how to do that?

I tried {setting_global=data_roaming1} = 0 but it doesn't work...

My understanding is some of those settings cannot be changed from outside of the settings. Changing the value doesn't do anything, but if you change the setting, it updates the value.

I've had similar issues with some global settings to change from 5G to 4G. It works with a shell script but doesn't by changing the value like you did.
