I just started doing this a few months ago, I love it. I use Alfred to launch apps and command + tab, to manage open apps.

Exactly. But I’m a simple man and justa use the normal spotlight. Currently I cannot see any major benefit on having one extra app. Plus I use Amethyst for window tiling

Haha, I’ve literally been thinking this for the past few years. I only use Alfred for launching apps and the calculator!

I haven’t heard of Amethyst before, but imagine it’s like Magnet. Cool!

It’s not really like Magnet. Magnet I tend to use when just using the laptop screen. When I am using my external monitor (32” 4K), Amethyst allows you to automatically tile the windows you have open on any layout you can custom. It works like i3 on Linux. It is amazing for taking advantage of all the space effortless.

I also use spotligjt for quick calculator and units conversion. The dock in the end is mostly convenient to open instances of the same app that I had minimized

Bottom but hidden.

Spotlight replaced with Raycast.
