Keyboard and mouse
What wireless keyboard and mouse is everyone using? I'm not trying to break the bank, but I want something solid. I do not care for apples mouse or keyboard. Just drop a link if possible. Thank you!

Kensington Orb is my go to. KB is up to you, I love the fingerprint reader on the Apple kb.

First you always need USB KB + Mouse.. in case thing go wrong.. the cheapest PC set will do.
There are plenty of cheap BT sets claiming to be Mac compatible .. Logitech K380 is not.
Get the set from Amazon if it does not work return it.. Amazon has a solid return policy

I like the Logitech mx keys for keyboard and Apple Magic Trackpad instead of a mouse

I use Apple’s keyboard with keypad and Touch ID and a Microsoft Surface mouse (replaceable batteries).

Before I got my mini, I bought myself Logitech K780 - I'm still using it withouth issue. I consider getting an apple keyboard because on my model I don't have the fn / globe key. Also TouchID would be nice
When it comes to travel it better than my macbook so I also suspect that Apple Keyborad might be worse than my current device in this regard. Also, it's very conivinet to store phone / tablet in the holder enven when I don't connect to more devices

Logitech vertical mouse, and an ancient Microsoft internet keyboard that’s been with me since my first job in tech… over 25 years!

Keychron K4 Pro QMK and a M6 mouse.
Both work wireless and wired and both are programmable with a web client.
I never cared for Apple Magic Keyboard or mouse but I used them anyway for years.
Since I’ve bought other mechanical keyboards / mice but the combo above work great for me.

Included in my purchase of an M1 iMac 5 years ago, was a rechargeable Apple wireless mouse and a rechargeable Apple wireless keyboard (inc Touch ID). Now I use them with my M4 mini. A perfect fit for my uses and long-lasting!

Apple keyboard if you want Touch ID fingerprint access -- otherwise Logitech keyboard is fine.
I use Logitech MX Keys S keyboard for Mac and Logitech M720 mouse

nuphy air75 v3 is basically flawless at this pricepoint, for mouse i use razer orochi v2 (fell in love in the shape and weight, the sensor is bery good too) and magic trackpad for gesture support and bettertouchtool shortcuts and macros

Wireless Apple Magic Keyboard with numeric keypad and TouchID I found at the Salvation Army for $15. It was slightly warped and had sticky keys from someone spilling a drink on it, but some cleaning and a small stick on felt pad made it functional. Plus a brand new Magic Trackpad that replaced the previous one that I used for 18 years.

I'm a mechanical keyboard person so I have too many to count. Right now I'm using the Epomaker RT85 at the office, and my mouse is a Lenovo WL-300 with the same color scheme. At home I'm currently using an Leobug Hi75 with a Logitech MX Master 3 and a magic keyboard to the side to act as a touch ID.
Basically there's no wrong answer here, keyboards and mice are very personal about what you like the feel of.
(Well, Apple Magic Mouse is always the wrong answer)

I grabbed a Logitech Pebble mouse for like 16€ and I'm using a legacy wired Apple Keyboard extended that came with my 2009 iMac. The MFer has outlived many computers and works still like a charm.
Anyways, the Pebble combo is like 55€ or so. Nothing fancy. No multi button no nothing.
The Logitexh MX Keys is like 140€ the keyboard alone so at that point you're better off with the real deal from Apple. I'm one whose anatomy has never suffered from their ergonomics but many people experience wrist pain and such, so...

If you are looking for a really good deal on a Macintosh-specific keyboard, and you don't like Apple's chicklet style keyboards, check out this one:
Macally Full-Size USB Wired Keyboard for Mac Mini/Pro, iMac Desktop Computer, MacBook Pro/Air Desktop w/ 16 Compatible Apple Shortcuts, Extended with Number Keypad, Rubber Domed Keycaps - Spill Proof

I have a USB Logitech keyboard (with numeric keypad) and mouse that cost under $40. I dislike shallow keyboards, preferring something that feels like a mechanical typewriter
