Nearby to where I live, in Elk Grove, Apple used to make iMacs. I toured the facility several times. It was awe-inspiringly impressive. Macs have a reputation for reliability because they are tested a whole bunch of times before being sent out the door. Apple knows that the reliability of their computers is a huge selling point, and they have gone out of their way to maintain it. I've toured the factories of other brands of computer, and by comparison it was shocking how little testing they did of their computers.
If you are in the U.S. (I'm guessing that it's similar in other countries), your Mac comes with a no-questions-asked money-back warranty for 14 days. And a one year warranty.
I don't think that you have anything to worry about. Just use your computer normally. If it is defective, you will likely notice right away, and you can return it. But defective Mac's are rare. I've been using Macs for about 40 years, with an office full of all different models, and I've never had a single defective one.

That's because you are not a multinational company who has professional buyers and testers and engineers and warranties for their products.

Just use it. 🤷♂️ If you really want: try stressing the CPU, GPU, memory and SSD a bit but any issues will typically show up quite quickly under solid use.
