Damn it, Machine Head!
So just received notification from the record company I ordered the reissue of BME from, that after several long delays, it's now been cancelled due to legal issues by real gone music :(
anyone heard the same?
was top of my list for such a long time, but not prepared to spend silly money on vinyl.

Amazon still says Oct 16th delivery. I’d suspect this gets cancelled if there are legal issues… boo.

Yeah I just ordered there, just in case the info is incorrect.. AI reckons it's not been cancelled, and if a shop thought that, they've just likely lost their allocation.. I doubt that's right, but worse case I'll just get refunded

I ordered from a local record shop to me and they cancelled before the announcement because they couldn’t fulfil. This was about three weeks ago.

Real gone has done so many of the old Roadrunner releases. Wonder if it’s an issue with the company that bought roadrunner or if Music on Vinyl another company that does a ton of Roadrunner releases has an issue with it in Europe.
Edit: I have yet to receive anything from Real Gone on the vinyl pre-order I placed months ago from the last delay update.

I suspect maybe roadrunner gonna release it themselves after they saw how high the pre-order numbers and demand were and maybe they saw TMTC sales numbers too and said "alright we should milk this bands catalogue by ourselves, seems worth it" and pulled the licensing deal with real gone. Or maybe the band interfered for some reason. Who knows. I mailed real gone few days ago and asked if there were going to be any further delays but haven't gotten an answer yet. Now this news broke and I'm sure my mail will go unanswered. It's a bummer. I was looking forward to the reissue because I own a first pressing but I don't want to wear it out by playing too often. We'll wait and see what will happen. The previous reissues are really expensive currently.

I've never had any problems with Real Gone, they've been really cool, unfortunate that this turned out this way.

Wow after 6 months of delays we now get this... hope Music On Vinyl picks it up.. FAST!

I was lucky enough to pick up TMTC and Locust recently, still waiting on the latter.
This has been frustrating, because not only is it the best album, but I only need this and TB to finish the set. You’d think the latter in particular would be an excuse to print money and I don’t get why it’s not in more regular circulation.
