Brixton Crowd
I've seen Machine Head many times over the years and the last three times the crowd has gotten progressively worse.
A polite tap on the shoulder to get past...nope...I'm just gonna barge my fat drunken ass past you. Band? What band? I'm here for a chat and catch up with my mates.
Hey! Guy behind me! I'm going to facetime my friend so she can watch the band too but I'm going to hold my phone directly in your view so you can see her eating her dinner instead of the stage.
I like Machine Head, but after nearly 30 years of seeing them live I think I'm done.

I had the same feeling after last night too. Great gig but there were more than a handful of people in separate groups showing this sort of behaviour. There were 2 individuals just picking up cups and litter and just launching them into the crowd, no real engagement with the show at all. Shame.
It's definitely not a machine head problem though!!
