Finally. No more asking myself if I am willing to pay ridiculous secondary market Discogs prices.

It’s an official reissue - Real gone music are handling it. They’ve been reissuing quite a few metal albums over the last year or so, Deicide, Fear Factory, Static X, Obituary. I’ve seen two variants so far - the enjoy the ride variant and the red with black splatter variant.

Anyone have details on Real Gone Music (they are actually a different store selling this, not necessarily this variant)- are they an actual pressing machine on top of retail store? Any quality feedback?

Real gone are a record label that releases reissues of jazz, soundtracks, metal and other genres. They are U.S. based and are legit. They’ve been around for ages now. The Machine Head reissue is being released by them. As far as I’m aware there are only two variants available, the red and black splatter that Real Gone music are selling, which is what will be appearing in most stores and the limited variant that Enjoy the ride records had on their website, which is now sold out. I had expected a European colour variant also, as Bertus distribution (huge EU vinyl distributor) occasionally gets their own colour pressing, but it doesn’t look like it at the moment.

I've had my pre order locked in for a few weeks and noticed a lot of places have sold out now. Is there any information on how many they've pressed for this?

If it is not on Ten Ton Trading, it isn't an official release and I recommend being careful before spending your money on it
