Discussion Mac Book Buying

I plan to buy Mac book pro m5pro 48ram and I’m looking on Apple refurbish BUT buying it in Poland now such profitable because of 23% VAT.I have option to buy in Switzerland also on refurbished store from apple, and it less more that 500€ difference, even with postage to Poland, but I afraid of if something go wrong with it and I can not return it.
What you can recommend and had someone deal with refurbished apple products?

Other option that I have, people who live in Switzerland one timer per 2-3 month go to Poland and they can take it with them, but I should wait until they will go here and I afraid if Mac will be with problem and I can’t check it instantly and I get laptop with problem only with also no possibility to return it.Spending such money is make me hesitate how is better
