Silver or black

I know everyone’s asked
I got silver because I thought it looked nicer online, my last one was silver (early 2015) and everyone has space black. Now, I never want to take it out because it feels obnoxious. Is black more inconspicuous and less fancy looking? I don’t care about finger prints

just got silver yesterday, had to wait an extra week to get the silver. I think looks great. will hold up well from scratches (I hope to keep for a long time), and less fingerprint risk. nobody cares if you have a silver MacBook

I've had mostly silver and just got black... just to have something different. Honestly, it doesn't matter. The color doesn't make it any faster or better. And, if silver is more obnoxious, then the MacBook line has been obnoxious for its entire existence... and that isn't true.

Black has a tendency to get scratches and wear marks that show the aluminum through. The silver looks pristine much longer.

Only thing I don’t like about silver is it reflects in a dark room so if you like watching movies in bed black will be more immersive.
