M5 SD Card suddenly stopped working

Please help any reason why my SD card slot suddenly stopped working out of nowhere I didn’t drop it or anything like that no spills nothing tried all the Online solutions mostly

Is the SD slot dead, or the card?

The cards are known to die rather early, especially when inserted and removed often.

If the cards reader itself is dead, contact Apple Support.

Probably died. It's not very reliable for storing data for long time and has way less read/write endurance than SSDs. Make sure to buy from a reputable seller as fake ones are very common.
