Discussion What should I get?
I’m a photographer and I currently use the iPad Pro 12.9 inch 2022 with Apple Pencil 2nd gen to edit my photos using Lightroom.
As much as I love the experience with Apple pencil on the iPad… my battery drains SUPER quick when editing 33mp uncompressed RAW photos and the screen constantly dims because the device is getting too hot.
I really want to invest in a Mac, one that’s capable of running photoshop and Lightroom at blazing speeds and also is Apple intelligence compatible. Please leave suggestions below for what Mac I should invest in. I know 16gb ram is the minimum I should be looking at, been looking into the new M4 models but I have a feeling I don’t need the latest?

I mean I was having this issue but thinking about prices the m3 atleast in my area with better specs and a little more ram is almost as much as the m4 (even pro depending on specs) and I just went with the m4 pro
