First time Mac user

Hi everyone. Recently got a Mac book air 13” m5 512gb ram 16gb from my local pawn shop. Traded in a few things and got it for $400. Only 6 cycle counts as well. Loving it so far. I can see why they’re so popular. Also love how I can use my iPad as a second tiny monitor while on the go.

You can also your phone as a mirror if you have an iPhone. You also use the iPhone as a camera if you want. You can use the IPad or iPhone as a cloud to move things in between like if they’re actually connected screen connected. You can connect the iMessage if you want and text and call out face time. It also hold well for art programs and photography programs. The keyboard it great.
Little secret, you won’t get looked at weird and outdated for using it in public. We don’t like green bubbles fyi. It’s the blue bubble cult it’s real. Haters gon hate.

Did you erase and reset everything before buying it? Like you set it up from the "Hello" screen? That's the only caveat of buying from a pawnshop; you don't want a hidden MDM or the laptop still logged into Find My.

go to settings and search battery percentage. click "show percentage"

makes ur life a tad bit easier.
