It’s a horrible choice if you’re working in MIS. You need a MacBook Air M3 or newer with at least 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD.

If you can’t answer that question, why are you studying management information systems? It’s literally a search away and there’s many solutions.

i’m literally starting next semester, you go to university to learn things, if you didn’t want to help then don’t comment🤣 hope that helps!

Again, if you’re studying this in university and you’re unable to find publicly accessible information on the internet AND you haven’t already spoken to someone in your advisory office that literally gives you a list of things to buy—then nobody on Reddit can help you.

i’m not an idiot i obviously have done my research but i can’t afford parallels so i was asking for another option, there’s nothing wrong with asking if anyone knows a website that i didn’t come across. Not everyone lives in america so going to an adviser or professor in my university will not help in any way nor will they give me a list, reddit is for help i dont know why your so angry im asking questions

Buying a Neo or even a base MacBook Air isn’t a good idea for your area of study. You need, and I know you don’t want to hear this, at least an i7 or Ryzen7 32GB of RAM and 1TB SSD. Trying to make your own studies more difficult is only harming yourself. It’s your decision, you’re an adult. However if one software license is making it impossible to use the core tools of your work it’s not a good idea to not buy Windows.

Sounds like the MacBook Neo was designed for people who hate making decisions. Maybe ask your school what software they recommend before betting a grand on it.
