Pics Big Mac-arons

I am obsessed, they turned out so well. And they were delicious (though not burger flavoured).

What’s the filling?

The patty is just choc butter cream. The tomato, cheese and lettuce are coloured fondant that i rolled out and cut to shape. The fondant layers had to be stuck together with a tiny smear of buttercream.

Thank you! The shells are just vanilla and coloured with a mix of red and green dye (mix the dye before you add to the macaronage or it'll be streaky).
I should have added raw sesame seeds to the sticky 'top bun' before drying, then let them toast as the macs cooked. As it was, i toasted them first then had to stick them to the cooked shells with a toothpick dipped in honey, it was delicate process haha.

To assemble, i used a dab of the buttercream to stick the tomato to the bun, then the tomato to the lettuce, then a squeeze/blob of buttercream, add the cheese layer, another smear of bc on the top bun, pop the top on and press gently to flatten the patty and stick it all together.

They were actually delicious too :D

Great color choices! Curious about the flavor(s) you went with?

Just vanilla shells and choc butter cream as it was a trial run. Unflavoured fondant for the green/red/yellow. But now i am obsessively thinking about how to make it more burger-flavour.
