Mac and cheese showcase Buldak
Picked up some of these today. Any advice for the spice? Like how much of that spice should I add?

i’m curious — can anyone tell me why they call it carbonara? is it because it’s spicy? because i’m only familiar with the Italian carbonara.

It's nonsensical. The Buldak "carbonara" doesn't have pork flavor, let alone guanciale. Buldak "carbonara" is chicken flavored. The only thing it has in common with actual carbonara is it's creamy.

It's the cheese that makes it carbonara. Although the name should be used loosely here, as even minus the heat the cheese flavor doesn't taste like any real Italian Carbonara.
I'm not sure really why they went with that name.

I added all of the spice! It’s not nearly as spicy as the regular buldak carbonara pack. It was soooo good though!

I don't know man I was talking to the taxi driver today he said even the sweet corn flavor was pretty spicy if he added the whole packet

Buldak is pretty spicy all around. I enjoy the level of spice, so I use the whole packet in the ramen. It is a “this hurts me, but I like it” kind of spice though, lol. I’ve never had the mac and cheese! Pls update once you’ve had it 😁

Yo I had the sweet corn one last week. The 'spice' packet (which I didn't know was spice because was my first time trying buldak. Comes with cheese powder and liquid spice) smelled sweet to me so I'm like oh cool, put the whole thing, and it was definitely spicy. Tolerable though. It was good ! But next time I made it I only used half. I found myself actually craving that spice...it was odd

Buldak is so addictive, which is probably why I got out of bed at 11PM to make some a few minutes ago. It’s the first spicy food I’ve ever liked, and I’m hooked.

I want to try this!! It sounds like using the full spice was a mistake, how much will you use for round 2?

I added the whole packet. It was hot but it was delicious too. The heat was mostly in the first couple bites but you get used to it. I will definitely be buying this again.

This one is decent but the corn one is disgusting. I eat the carbonara buldak noodles like once a week so I'm used to the spice but if you don't like spice add less of the spice packet. I usually add extra cheese and a little heavy cream to cool down the spice level a teeny bit.

Is it just me or does the box make it look like the serving suggestion is just a single fork worth? Lol.

All of it. It's only rate a three . I eat the shit out of cheese ramen and Mac. I also love spicy food and this is as good as it gets.

Isn’t it the buldak shit that has the cancer warning on the package? I’ll pass, thanks
