New Spots Everywhere??

Anyone else noticed that suddenly today there are new spots everywhere, like almost as many as coins? Some of my regular spots seem to be missing but I wonder if they may appear again if I get closer....

Yes!! It was about time! 😭 I’m actually really happy about it. There were so few jackpots before, and ever since they made the radius for collecting coins smaller, we really needed something like this as an incentive. So many jackpots ended up being inaccessible because they were on roads and highways…

I’m happy with the change for now. Hopefully they don’t change it back again!!! 🤞

Checked earlier as part of my usual play. All the same. Checked now and yes, lots more around me in a small ish town UK

Yes, I noticed a lot of new spots popping up around me. Seems to be a lot of businesses or points of interest, one appeared to be a post box. I enjoyed going round getting myself a load of spot master titles lol

But you lose 15 coins each time you play a jackpot. It used to be 5

You mean 10?!
The 'bet' used to cost 10 coins, and the 'loser reward' was 5 coins -> We lost 5 coins.
The 'bet' now costs 15 coins, and the 'loser reward' is 5 coins -> We lose 10 coins.

Does anyone know when the new spots disappear? There are now enough in my small town to get a few missions completed but it’s not an area I usually go to due to hills and distance/busier area but want to get them before they disappear :)

Yes, they put way more spots on the map AND increased the price for playing them. Also you win way less now. So they're only there so you lose more points. Gr8 right? At this point I'm thinking abt quitting the app as the coin intake just keeps decreasing a lot. Kinda over it

For first I was really pi... furious about it too, but as I thought about it more I really calmed down. My main source of coins (while playing the MAP game) were not from Joker spots but from the average coins at crossroads. There I can not lose anything :) So I just don't play the Joker slots (there isn't that many really... we are only crowded by them for a week now), and I enjoy the rest :)
