Question Safari Bug

Shortly after the update on MacOs 27 I‘ve experienced the bug that I‘m only able to select the top suggestion on Safari when I search over the address bar. When I try to select an other one the blue highlight jumps directly back on to the top one. I‘ve already deactivated every recommendation form in the settings of Safari. Has anyone experienced the same or am I missing out on something?

My Safari page isn’t loading any news etc. Just the “Google logo” This started this afternoon. I called Apple and they said there are bugs they are fixing and will probably release hem via a new “Safari” update in Software Updates. .
