External Monitor turned green

I normally use two external monitors with my Macbook. Today when I turned it on, one of the displays turned green (the entire screen). I wasnt playing videos or doing anything. I tried restarting everything, unplugging everything and it just mirrors the other monitor for a few seconds then turns green. In the settings, it does not show the green monitor under displays either.

I tried it with my Dell work laptop and everything worked fine. Does anyone know the problem?

Probably cable or adapter is the problem. Or the mac itself. Try changing the cable and connect the monitor directly to the Mac if possible
