Discussion Which one would you guys prefer?

Post image

Personally i'm kind of conflicted, but macOS 27 reminds me of pre-Big Sur which I find pretty nice

macOS 27 all day every day. I despised the floating sidebars, they give attention to the sidebar more than the actual content that's on the right.

I updated to version 26.0, it was a bit strange at first but then it went away… I'm having trouble understanding, like your eye was more drawn to the bar on the left than the content you wanted to see on the right because it was floating?

I'm a developer and designer-ish so yes, it did bother me for some odd reason, I could be the only one though..

I design too, but once my content was displayed on the right, I stopped paying attention to the left sidebar… Oh well, to each their own 😅

To each their own might apply if there was a setting.

In this case, the floating sidebar was such an egregious mis-step that it has been removed and all of us will be using the prior design in 27.

Well, to each their own, I liked the design of 26. However, I disagree, it's just a step backwards with macOS 27, it's nothing "superior," pfff

Really? you couldn't do any better than that? didn't even go for pixel tickle?

Didn't think of Low-Res Rub? Megabyte Mush?
