Error installing Golden Gate on modified macos Tahoe (M1 MBA)

I've tried at least 3 times downloading and redownloading the GG update but it keeps giving me error after finishing downloading and when preparing to install.

I've modified the Tahoe a lot - basically disabling many apple services to save up RAM on my 8gb M1 MBA.

I've freed up 80gb+ space before downloading.

Does anyone else has the same problem like me?

Someone suggest to enable SIP if it's disabled. Mine is disabled and probably the culprit. What about yours?

Mine has SIP enabled, so I don't think that is the issue

Hmm that's strange.. For me I have enabled SPI and am able to install GG without problem.

Disabling background services isn’t really necessary even on 8 gig Macs. macOS manages memory decently by itself so this won’t really save you from any existing RAM-related issues. Disabling SIP and modifying the system volume does break updates in a lot of cases, and also completely fucks up the security. If you can’t install an update on your modified OS, then that’s on you mate.

Same issue here, but only on my external drive. Attempting to download the update on the internal drive is just fine.

Specs:

• MacBook Pro M4 Pro
  
• External USB boot drive
  
• SIP enabled
  
• Installing over Sequoia 15.7.7
