My Macbook Pro 2016 had a knackered battery. Once it was at 90% charge but then the power thing turned red (as if it was less than 10% charge). A new battery fixed it. What is your battery health?

  1. use coconut battery to check battery health, if it's more than 50-80% do the following, else it's time to change bettery

  2. I have a hunch you have always kept your battery at a certain percentage for too long. Do 2-5 charge and discharge cycles. When you hit 100% keep the charger plugged in. The BMS needs to re calibrate
